The Research Of Women’s Sports In Nationalist Government(1927--1937)

Based on the idea of saving the country by means of sports in sports Dom, Nationalist Government imbued nation people to take part in all kinds of sports between1927--1937. At the same time, female stepped in stadium gradually and female sports developed rapidly. As an important part of the Republic of China’s sports, the researches on female sports are insufficient and lack of a general idea.In order to research the truth of female sports’development, the dissertation has a discussion on female sports’ idea and their behavior in playing-field according to sports newspapers and periodicals. This dissertation includes three chapters. The first chapter considers the condition of female’s sport in Northern Warlords Government of China. Two aspects, mainly from the Northern sports community during the awareness of women’s sports and women’s sports carrying out, are discussed in the initial development of the call to defend the country.the second chapter puts much more emphasis on the view of Women’s Sports. In order to explain women’s sports thinking achieving significant and comprehensive progress in the period of the Nanjing National Government, I describe the ideology of nationalism under the care of female sports, healthy women sports ideology and women in the school physical education. The third chapter considers the female in playground. By analyzing the achievements of women’s sports and the imbalance of women’s sports development, I attempt to give readers full understanding of the development of women’s sports from1927to1937. The fourth chapter considers the relationship between the female sports and the society. As a part of social activities, I intend to show the social recognition of women’s sports and female response to public opinion from the analysis of the media following women’s sports stars and the general public, as well as favorable for female sports performance.By discussing the development of women’s sports before the Nanjing National Government, I try to make people fully understand Women’s sports development, moreover, at the slogan of" national salvation Figure deposit", deeply understand when women’s sports toward public space, the women’s movement is not just for the country, but presents a complex phenomenon.It is so important that making people to realize sports, either the state or to individuals. It provides a reference for the further development of China’s women’s sports, prompting the change of our country into a sports powerful nation.
