With the continuous development of China’s social, political,economic, cultural, tennis development in China rapidly up. In recent years, the numberof Yunnan Province, more and more involved in tennis, and sports groups as moreordinary colleges and universities, popularization and promotion of tennis is particularlyimportant. Through the undergraduate college tennis Yunnan distribution, status quoarrangement, teachers, tennis instruction, organization, constraints and other aspects ofstudent participation number, tennis lessons analysis, which found that the actualproblems and propose forceful measures and rationalization viable developmentproposals to reform the development of tennis in Yunnan Province, Yunnan NormalUniversity colleges and sports tennis courses provide a reference value, with significantpractical and theoretical value.The results showed that:1.College undergraduate college tennis Yunnan higher on identity, the sport hassome knowledge and understanding of the needs of the foundation with thepopularization and promotion of tennis; in extracurricular sports activities, tennisparticipation of university students not high, has not yet formed a good tennis campusculture.2.Yunnan undergraduate college tennis a serious lack of teachers, teacherqualifications and tennis titles levels are not high enough, can not meet the teachingneeds.3.
