The contact between geography teachers and students is more in class, so how to use classroom language evaluation is very important. The geography teachers need to fully play the role of classroom language functions in evaluation, orientation, diagnosis, encouragement and feedback. Well-used classroom language evaluation can not only keep students learning motivation,acquired eminent achievement, but also have funs in geography learning, upgraded geography accomplishment. The new curriculum evaluation is to promote student’s all-round development. This kind of evaluation concept is that people have been pursued the ideal status of the evaluation. The general functions of classroom language evaluation and special functions of geography classroom language evaluation determine the new geography teachers need to master this skill quickly and smoothly. As a new geography teacher, teaching skills development is at primary stage, especially classroom language evaluation skill should be improved. The author want to instruct and help the new geography teachers improving their classroom language evaluation skills, launching classroom language evaluation in effectively.This study used literature search, questionnaires,based on educational psychology theories, investigated the new geography teachers classroom language evaluation skills application current situation, analyzed the knowledge cognitive level, application status, development status and development requirements of the new geography teachers classroom language evaluation, strived to find problems when using classroom language evaluation presented suggestions and solutions for the new. Through summary and case analysis classroom language evaluation classification and application, exploring the idea and method of the new geography teachers’better use the language classroom evaluation and evaluation promote development function.The research suggests that:1. The new geography teachers can realize the significance of classroom language evaluation, but do not understand the knowledge; Positive correlation exists between application purpose and knowledge cognitive level of the new geography teachers’ classroom language evaluation.2. Even if the new geography teachers know the way how to take classroom language evaluation out, but the development of the new geography teachers classroom language evaluation skills is not very well, reflected in the reflection frequency about classroom language evaluation seldom, the development of research for classroom language evaluation slowly, low level of classroom language evaluation and so on; Positive correlation exists between the reflection frequency and the attention degree of the new geography teachers to the other teachers’ classroom language evaluation. The new geography teachers who seeking for help about classroom language evaluation instruction should be reflected their classroom language evaluation. Positive correlation exists between the reflection frequency and the frequency of the new geography teachers seeking for help about classroom language evaluation instruction.3. Improving teachers’ classroom language evaluation skills not only concerned with teachers own efforts, but also the help of the normal universities, schools and master of education department.The normal universities should improve their course system, school and the departments should improve the pre-service training and post after continuous help and training.4.Case analysis:When students lack of confidence, the teacher must use incentive language evaluation to arouse students’interest of geography study and keep learning motivation. When students have progress, the teacher must use praise language evaluation in timely, the language of praise must be specific and practical, sincere emotions, let the student feel the teacher heartfelt admiration. When students answer wrong or view incorrect, the teacher must be patient and careful apply corrective language evaluation, to guide students in an actively way.Innovation:the theoretical basis of educational psychology theories, discusses the basic strategies and suggestions for the new geography teachers to provide their skills, and present categories and cases for the new geography teachers.
