| To help students from poor families is one of the main tasks for college faculties. With the deepening of reform in higher education, the proportion of students from poor families keeps increasing. As one of a disadvantage groups in the school, they need the cooperative helps from government, school, and society to overcome the difficulties they come across both in academy and life. In recent years, with more focus on this special group, the country expands the fund they put in these students. Offering help in various aspects such as economy, psychology, and academy, high schools also make efforts to help these students successfully finish college causes. The thesis research high school’s work on helping poor families’ students, analyze the cause of the form of group of students from poor families, and seek a reasonable solution for this problem.it aims to improve the effect for high school funding students from poor families,which in turn, will help these students better finish their college causes.There are several parts in this thesis. The first part is to introduce the meaning of this topic, its history and the method the author will apply in this thesis.The second part is to explain the cause of the poverty of these families, analyze the result form the survey on establishing and improving helping system of high schools and summarize the problems of colleges on helping students from poor families.The third part is to categorize the college fund system. The fund can be divided into three category, which is scholarship, free fund, and paid fund.The forth part is to analyze the weakness of managing system of helping the poor students. The author demonstrated the content of governmental supervising system and college managing system. At the same time, the author explained the role of college counselor in these systems, and raised the emerging problems.The fifth part is to offer the solution to improve the aiding system. The author expounded how to strengthen the supervise and management from government and how to use the college aiding system. |
