Nowadays, the high school biology concepts teaching, teaching the core concepts as the center, its significance is obvious. In the majority of primary and secondary school, there are many teachers engaged in teaching and researching work of biology core concepts, and has produced a series of research results have some reference value. But generally speaking, the research in this field is still in the exploratory stage, is still not mature, not system, the maneuverability is not strong, the teaching effect is not significant. So the author through the literature research method to establish "the seven steps step by step method" which is a new teaching method for the core concept of biology, to improve the middle school biology classroom teaching effect; the author also through classroom observation method, experimental method, to explore the effectiveness of "seven steps step by step method".Through a large number of literature at home and abroad, study of pedagogy, psychology related with education teaching theory, and the collection of teaching thoughts and teaching methods finishing predecessors in the core concepts in biology teaching, comparison and thinking on comprehensive, profound, the author puts forward the core concept of biology teaching in senior high school’s "seven steps step by step method". The contents are as follows:l,the biological screening, the core concept of construction;2, core concepts in biology teaching system;3, learning needs analysis;4, creating effective situation teaching;5, around the core concept using various ways of teaching;6, summary;7, the actual use. The teaching method of comprehensive and systematic, step-by-step, step by step to start teaching in the teaching process, strong operability; age characteristics of the method the attention of students, concerned about the development of character of the students cognitive thinking, pay attention to the students’subject consciousness and the life experience of the students; the teaching process is closely related to real life, emphasize knowledge application of biological science literacy, can better improve the students.The author conducted a teaching experiment in senior middle school in Shangnan County of Shaanxi Province, the effectiveness of "seven steps step by step method" of the research. In a20parallel classes randomly selected two classes as the experimental class and the control class, by single blind method, strictly quasi experimental research to control the experimental conditions.Through classroom observation, found in the use of "seven steps step by step method" of teaching, teachers teaching more confident, targeted and more systemic, teachers teaching more easily spread; the enthusiasm of students to participate in learning activities more students to participate in learning activities, the effect is better.After a period of half a semester’s experiment, using self compiled "2014Shangnan high school biology Ⅱ core concepts teaching test"(test score of100points, the choice of60points, the non choice question40points), this period of teaching achievements inspection. The experimental class choice, non choice, the entire test average score were48.03points,30.64points,78.67points, its variance were29.57,14.39,66.29; the control class choice, non choice, the entire test average score were45.52points,28.65points,74.17points, its variance were68.58,17.06,109.14. Z test was performed in the experimental class, control class choice, non choice, the entire test scores, the Z values were1.97,2.76,2.64, and the corresponding P values were less than0.05, less than0.01, less than0.01, indicating that they were significant, very significant difference, which is very significant differences.Through the teaching experiment, combined with classroom observation, for "the seven steps step by step method", the following conclusions can be drawn:1, seven steps step by step method" is better than Chen Yachun’s three step teaching method.2, seven steps step by step method" is the core concept in senior high school biology is one of the effective methods of teaching.3, seven steps step by step method" in high school biology concept teaching promotion.
