Research On The Development Strategy Of Inner Mongolia Radio And TV University

The Open University of China, Beijing Open University, ShanghaiOpen University, Jiangsu Open University, Yunnan Open University andGuangdong Open University were gradually credited to be founded byMinistry of Education of China in2012, which has been a symbol of thatChina has started the open universities with Chinese characteristics.Inner Mongolia Radio and Television University seized this historicalopportunity to devise the new school with the distinctive localcharacteristics, which is of Mongolian features mainly.The superiorities that have been accumulated during the openeducation pattern research became the practical foundation to establishthe open universities. This paper primarily aims at seriously sortingout and eliminating the open education patterns in the existing radioand television universities to analyze the advantages and disadvantagesof the open education patterns and the barriers of the operating thesepatterns and also to define the educational requirements and philosophyfor running the open universities. The paper’s purposes are to complywith the government guidance and inspire the social participation toprovide Inner Mongolia Radio and Television University with the thoughtsand theory for the successful transition, which is consistent with theeducational philosophy of the open universities and the more flexibleeducational patterns with the regional characteristics.
