Over the last few years, the Chinese wind is ascendant in worldwide, thepromotion of Chinese as a second language teaching is expanding scope. Age oflearners also will continue to expand, except adolescents and adults, currently haveushered in a number of special teaching object-children learners. In2012,the authorpracticed in Victoria, Australia Mildura area five primary and secondary schools. Inorder to adapt to the local teaching principles and philosophy of education and anincrease of Chinese classroom interesting, author introduced Chinese classroomgames into classroom teaching.In this paper, the author discusses some aspects of the research againstAustralian early childhood Chinese classroom Chinese game design: First, byreferring to the relevant literature at home and abroad, which in teaching Chineselanguage for infants and young children and study the current development ofChinese language teaching for early childhood learners overseas, summed up thetheories of psychology, teaching Chinese as a secondary language and games. Second,I visited at the Melbourne region Chinese schools and combined with my practicalexperience in teaching Chinese language teaching in primary schools, investigated theteaching philosophy of Australian children, the status quo of teaching Chineselanguage and some teaching principles which Chinese teachers should be followedteaching methods for children. Third, the author recorded a classroom game casethrough case interviews, and observed Chinese teachers’ classes, chronicles thespecific implementation process of the game, and analyzed its effectiveness inteaching, fun, student participation and other aspects.The third chapter, the author under the guidance of foreign language teachingtheory, combined with children’s interest, attention, memory, thinking, cognitivecharacteristics, philosophy of teaching young children in Australia and teachingprinciples and teaching methods, has designed Chinese phonetic alphabet, character,vocabulary classroom games adapting for Australia’s early childhood Mandarinlearners.
