Soltis once said:“Indeed,how we think about knowledg to affect how we thinkabout education in considerable extent.”In all ages, knowledge and education havethe intrinsic relation. Education is an important way of knowledge dissemination,screening, distribution and development. Knowledge is the important content and thecarrier of Education.To research practical knowledge for Yunnan rural primary andsecondary school teachers is because of many teachers are too busy to notice theteacher’s practical knowledge generation.Besides,to find generation strategy ofteachers’ practical knowledge and improve the professional standards of teachers’occupation are the focus of education reform in the world.The main purposes of researching on teachers’ practical knowledge are twocategories. One is the theory purpose.The othe one is practice purpose. Thetheoretical purpose is to pay more attention to theory of the teacher’s practicalknowledge.The practice purpose is provide effective strategies for Yunnan ruralprimary and secondary school teachers in practical knowledge generation.In research methods,this paper take the literature research,investigation ofeducation and statistical analysis. On the basis of analysis in the literature researchabout domestic and international research scholar of teacher’s practical knowledgetheoretical.Next,it is a survey of practical knowledge of Yunnan rural primary andsecondary school teachers through education survey. Finally, statistical analysismethod is used to investigate the results of statistics and analysis of survey.In order tofind out problems of Yunnan rural primary and secondary school teachers’ practicalknowledge generation, and analyzes the causes of these problems. First of all, thispaper is related to the theoretical understanding of teachers’ knowledge and teachers’practical knowledge generation as the foundation.Second, the paper analyzes thecurrent situation of Yunnan rural primary and secondary school teachers in practicalknowledge generation on the theory,To find out teachers’ problems,school problemsand environmental problems of Yunnan rural primary and secondary school teachersin practical knowledge generation.Next to analyzes the subjective and objectivereasons of three problems. Last,the paper combine with the theory of generation strategy to think strategy of teachers’ practical knowledge generation.
