Tang and Song poetry is very important port of Chinese traditionalculture. A lot of Tang and Song poetry in the junior middle schooltextbooks express strong feelings of patriotism. The feeling exert hugeinfluence for people, especially for middle school students. However,different teaching materials and different teaching methods will producedifferent teaching effectiveness for student. Therefore, it is verynecessary to fully tap the patriotic feelings behind in junior middleschool textbooks by analyzing the materials and improving teachingmethods.In the Chapter II the patriotism are described from the perspectiveof traditional culture, and through the way of questionnaires it analyzespatriotism on the current secondary language education, and points outthat the current educational methods and materials needs improvement.The Tang and Song poetry in the multiple versions of the juniorhigh school language textbooks was count in the Chapter III. In theChapter I it analyzes the difference of these textbooks according to thedifferent characteristics.It finds out the insufficiency of traditional teaching methods in theChapter V. this chapter proposes improvements to teaching methods. It isexpected that students will receive better education of patriotism fromTang and Song poetry in the junior middle school textbooks...
