Poetry is China literature and art peak. Su Jiao edition "Tang and Song Poetry" is the high school languageAn important part of the curriculum, occupies an important position in Chinese teaching.This paper from the two aspects of teaching and learning "teaching present situation analysis of the Tang and Song Poetry":Students’ learning lack of interest, lack of good study habits, not the correct learning methods, teachers lack of teaching methods are not flexible, teaching materials, improper handling. Then dig out the causes of failure of the teaching:the teaching objectives positioning inaccurate, single teaching method, the teaching means misunderstanding effectiveness.According to the concept of the new curriculum, teachers should use the new field of vision to re-examine the "Tang and Song Poetry", grasp the teaching ideas and goals, methods of teaching the effective teaching principles and improve. In the process of teaching, teachers should establish the dominant position of the students, pay attention to combining the presupposition and generation, to promote respect for text and innovative interpretation of the combination, pay attention to students’ sentiment, improve their abilities of self-study and cooperative learning. Innovative idea changes will also bring method. Active participation in the teaching strategies, teaching strategies "inquiry found","bypass contact type" teaching strategy, promote student of ancient poetry appreciation ability in a variety of teaching strategies, harvest the poetic life.These teaching strategies are not isolated, their combined use, can provide the starting point for their breakthrough "Tang and Song Poetry" and the teaching difficulty, also provide an opportunity for students to improve the reading ability of the classical poetry.
