Language education of China has a long history, its unique characteristics exit in every period. With the development of times, the society progress for requirement of the education is more and more high, and the shortcomings and disadvantages of traditional teaching mode is gradually revealed. According to this, language education of China reforms in teaching constantly. Especially after the reform and opening up, the happening of achievements of Chinese teaching reforms results in a large number of outstanding C hinese teaching reformers, who reform a series of Chinese teaching and make contributions to the causes of C hinese teaching reform. O uyang Daina and Wei Shusheng is a leading figure in Chinese teaching reform in the eighty’s, and they dare to innovate, dare to reform, create a new realm of C hinese teaching reform in china. The Chinese O uyang Daina proposed the conception of two steps of language teaching reform, namely, the stage of middle school to cultivate students’ basic ability to listen, say, read, and write, so as to form the self- study ability preliminary; the high school stage that based on the middle school stage focus on the appreciation, identification, analysis and comment of the students on the ability, students, so as to form a study ability preliminary. It is the novel idea that puts O uyang Daina onto "the road of the overall reform ", The Chinese teaching reform activities of Ouyang Daina in the exploration of the theory is very useful, in the teaching practice is very success through in some tip fields of mother tongue. For the development and progress of our country middle Chinese teaching, Ouyang Daina has made contributions and has a profound influence. The main characteristics of Chinese teaching reform of Wei Shusheng is "democracy" and "science", namely, using the scientific management methods help the students to become the masters of language learning, stimulate the students’ language learning potential. Through the commonness and differences about language teaching reform in the Ouyang Daina and Wei Shusheng, they have the function of guidance for our current Chinese teaching reform.This paper consists of the following five parts: the first part, starting from the education tradition of ancient C hinese, with the brief introduction of the background of C hinese teaching reform, it puts forward O uyang Daina and Wei Shusheng as a leader in the eighty’s Chinese teaching reform in our country; The second part, starting from the thought and practice in O uyang Daina Chinese teaching reform, it expounds the characteristics of O uyang Daina C hinese teaching reform; The third part, starting from the thought and practice in Wei Shusheng C hinese teaching reform, it expounds the characteristics of Wei Shusheng’s Chinese teaching reform; The fourth part, comparing the Chinese teaching reform of O uyang Daina and Wei Shusheng, it systematically compares Ouyang Daina and Wei Shusheng the same and different points in Chinese teaching reform; The fifth part reveals that Ouyang Daina and Wei Shusheng Chinese teaching reform enlightenment to current C hinese teaching reform, reveals the necessity of the present C hinese teaching reform, C hinese teachers should be bold to reform C hinese teaching, and don’t copy mechanically the experience of predecessors, they should find out a suitable C hinese teaching to reform, and they should enhance their C hinese culture to ensure the effective implementation of C hinese teaching reform.
