Academic Procrastination is a series of deferred behaviors manifested in a learning situation, Nowadays; it is an important research for students’ studying. The students who have the idea of performing learning tasks, but lack of matchable performance, which may lead to the opposite effect accompanied by some anxieties, depression, loss and other negative and painful emotional experience. Based on the literature reviews and past research conclusions, the initial structure of the questionnaire was made by the open-ended investigation among forty teachers and sixty students, individual interviews and other methods.The initial structure questionnaire was used for 400 students to test the dimension of the academic procrastination questionnaire by the methods of exploratory factor analysis and reliability and validity test, an official junior high school academic procrastination questionnaire was settled and did the reliability and validity test.It reveals the status of junior high school academic procrastination by conducting a questionnaire survey for 650 junior high school students. The study reached the following conclusions: 1. Three dimensions constitute the junior high school students’ academic procrastination, these are: difficulty in academic starting, short of power in academic and lack of academic summary. The reliability and validity level indicated that the questionnaire has good reliability and validity of the junior high school academic procrastination self and it can be used as a measurement of junior high school academic procrastination tool. 2. In junior high school, academic procrastination has strong differences displaying in different sex, the boy have a worse situation than girls. There are also some differences among the student cadres and normal students. The students who have the power of leading are much better than the others. 3. The relationship between the students and their parents also play an very important role in academic procrastination. The students who have a harmonious relationship with their parents have e the best performance in academic procrastination.
