Schools providing education of management business administration should pay lots of attention to work of students’ career development. To fully promote management business administration students’ career development, schools should provide some personalized planning, information and guide for students. Though education of management business administration has developed a lot in China recently, schools still haven’t done well enough in work about career development. To better prepare management business administration students for career, schools should not only improve the quality of education of management business administration, but also provide better service of career development to students.Nanjing University is a very famous university in China. Business school in Nanjing University is also very famous. However, business school of Nanjing University still faces many urgent problems about career development. Business school in Nanjing University should devote itself to work about career development, so that it can create better job conditions for management business administration students and outperform other business schools.In this study, the author adopts qualitative research methods to research work of management business administration students’career development in various schools. The author selects three top business schools in North America (including Harvard Business School, Stanford Graduate School of Business and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania), three top business schools in Europe (including London Business School, INSEAD and IESE Business School), two top business schools in HongKong and eight top business schools in mainland in China. The author logs on official websites of these schools and looks through relevant information about work of career development. Through analyzing and comparing, the author generalizes a series of characters of good career development work and concludes different schools’ strength and weakness. The author also evaluates career development work in schools by scoring. Finally, the author discusses some shortcomings of career development work in business school in Nanjing University and makes some suggestions for future work.
