Human resource makes significant contributions to the rapid economic increase in countries today. Career planning, which is considered one of the most vital part in human resource management, has become the new tendency in personnel management, as well as a new orientation in the corporate human resource governance in our country. People paying increasing attention to career planning, career anchor has come into the public notice gradually. Throughout one’s career, a person may have changed his occupation styles several times. However, some internal decisive factors will not change. Those factors constitute personal career anchor. This study will be based on career anchor, combining theory and practice, and use Schen’s career anchor theory to give guidance to college students for employment and to the empirical research of corporate management strategies.Firstly, an inquiry about undergraduate career anchor will be presented, which include both traditional factors such as abilities, motives, attitudes and personal values, and new factors containing career expectations, employers’reputations and personal traits, etc. Then a career anchor sheet is made and illustrated. Secondly, data drives will be assessed; career anchor molds of college students and influential factors, together with differences will be concluded; then we will do follow-up research of undergraduate career anchor and business management, demonstrating the correlation between career anchor and employments of college students.On one hand, a more clear picture that how anchor career can affect undergraduate employment can be made, in order to emphasize the importance for colleges and universities to use career anchor to educate students. On the other hand, when it comes to corporate management strategies, a deep understanding of the interaction between career anchor and undergraduate employment can contribute to a more targeted and applicable decision-making. The effective use of career anchor when doing human resource management by companies is a valuable research.
