Research On Humanistic Concern Of Ideological And Political Education In Higher Vocational Colleges

With the booming development of higher vocational education and people’s awareness of humanistic care, how to combine the two aspects has become a focus. Young students in different generations possess different time features. Most higher vocational college students are post 90 s who experienced some special periods, such as the acceleration of social transformation and the expansion of political and economic reform. Compared with students in other generations, they possess different belief, value orientation and cultural accomplishment.Nowadays, in spite of the fact that the ideological and political education model in ordinary colleges has approached perfection, the ideological and political education in higher vocational colleges is relatively weak both theoretically and practically, due to the low teaching and administration level, the uneven quality of students and the practical-oriented teaching objectives.Under such circumstance, the higher vocational colleges not only need the integration of humanistic care in ideological and political education, but also need to make reasonable adjustments according to the actual situation of students in higher vocational colleges. It is under exploration on how to highlight the differences of higher vocational colleges and conduct the effective humanistic care education that conforms to the college characteristics and meets students’ needs. Based on previous studies, the author tries to analyze the current situation and existing problems in the humanistic care education in higher vocational colleges, in order to probe into the feasible path to improve the humanistic care in ideological and political education in higher vocational colleges.This paper consists of four parts.The first part outlines the connotation and the main contents of humanistic care, and analyzes the necessity and feasibility of the integration of humanistic care into ideological and political education. Ideological and political education has a long history, in which the entailed humanistic care shows different contents and forms with the time changing. However, the essence of respecting people’s rights has not been changed. The integration of humanistic care can enrich the ideological and political education system, promote students’ comprehensive development and meet the needs of the development of higher vocational colleges and social progress.The second part reviews the previous theoretical and practical studies on humanistic care, which can give enlightenment for the humanistic care in ideological and political education in higher vocational colleges. Humanistic care theory has profound theoretical and practical background, both in western and eastern countries, ancient China and modern China. The humanistic care belief of Chinese Communist Party not only inherited the traditional Confucian thought of "benevolence" and "Li", but also absorbed the outstanding western theories, especially Marx’s Human Theory. The literature review provides theoretical reference and practical basis for humanistic care education in higher vocational colleges.The third part focuses on the current situation and reason for the humanistic care in ideological and political education in higher vocational colleges. In this part, the author applies the method of social investigation and statistical analysis, and samples the students and teachers in Shandong Institute of Commerce and Technology. Through the sample analysis, the author summarizes the current situation and existing problems, digs the reason and finds out the solution for humanistic care in ideological and political education in higher vocational colleges.The fourth part discusses the research conclusion, which deals with how to effectively improve the humanistic care in ideological and political education in higher vocational colleges. According to the existing theoretical and practical achievements as well as the current situation, the author puts forward specific measures on aspects of theory construction, carrier construction, system construction and subject construction, in hope to get rid of the current problems and improve the humanistic care education level in higher vocational colleges.In order to promote social progress, theory should be combined with practice. With the time progress and idea renewal, the study on humanistic care in higher vocational colleges will be enriched and deepened, which is of great significance both theoretically and practically, and which will have positive impact on the construction of higher vocational colleges.
