This paper regards the "Classification of accumulation and phrases focus on language training experiment textbook"--abbreviated “double classification”, which was compiled by a special grade teacher Lu Jichun alone, as the study objection,introducing the points and analyzing the characteristicsof the narration in “double classification” textbook. Besides, it points out the limits of this textbook in the process of writing, which provides inspiration for narrative writing content in current teaching material.The paper is divided into four parts. The introduction clears research problems,study objections and research methods, reveals the features and innovations, and defines the relevant concepts involved in paper.The first chapter introduces the main content of narrative writing in "double classification" textbook. From the status and knowledge frame of narrative writingin“double classification”, the narrative writing profile of this textbook can be learned,which also provides basis for the following discussion.The second chapter analyzes the characteristics of science, system, clarity and integrity of narrative writing content in “double classification” and then points out the two limitations in narrative writing compile. One is the contradiction between specific guidance and writing innovation. The other is the lack of revising knowledge in narrative writing.Based on the previous study, the third chapter enlightens and gives suggestions to the copyreader ofthe current narrative writing textbooks. Firstly, learn from the narrative wring content in "double classification". Secondly, the narrative and declarative knowledge should be incorporated intoproperly. Thirdly, give prominence to the combination of narrative and procedural writing knowledge.
