It is not a new topic to improve the writing ability of junior high school students with the help of the classical Chinese. On account of simple plots, dull and dry characterization, disordered sentences and the divided discription of charactors and sceneries in narrative passages of junir high school students, it analyzes some representative classical Chinese contents in the text in detail, but I found that there are not many passages which aim at improving the writing ability of junior high school students. It discusses the importance of imitation in the view of Psychology, Education and Writing. It also analyze the reality that we should begin with narration based on the course standard and the condition of students. It is about the necessity of using art of writing and composition in the form of language in Chinese and why it should be the classical Chinese from the value of reading classical Chinese and typicality of writing classical Chinese. It explains the reason of setting up this topic layeredly. It concludes and analyzes the research of connection between classical Chinese and writing. There are still some pities left, although we have realized that we should learn writing skills from classical Chinese, the value of arragement in it and the importance of imitate-wring and rewrting. Writing practice does not aim at deep consideration of writing, but the better understanding of contents. We will ignore the guide of wrting process, if we only bring some conceps and priciples forward, but not to tell them how to write. Students cannot experience the effect of the programmed knowledge vividly, if it lacks the detail analyse of the examples and the demostration of programed knowledge, and they will have no examples to follow. Scattered imitation lacks systematical consideration and effective focus. Therefore, the project constucts the frame of programmed modelled writing which is chracterized in analyzing examples of classical Chinese. The research of project does not contain the static classification of knowledge, but the dynamic research of specific situation. It does not arrange in knowledge system, but the teaching system. It does not aim at the explanation of concepts, but the guide of writing behaviour. The transverse dimension of the topic are the analyse of the model essay, points and the practice of writing and self-evaluation with the teaching examples enclosed. The analyse of modelled passage aims at the analyse of writing and composition. It focuses on the application of language in a certain situation. The buliding of process aims at helping junior students rebuild the programmed knowledge. The fore-and-aft demension of the topic is the art of writing, and then the art of composition. Based on some passages in the junior high school testing text of Shanghai Second Course Reform, through the model-writing practice of students, it enables students to add the story layers by spreading the layers of an incidence to make them stacked. It makes the character vivid by spreading different sides of its personalities and uses different performances to describe characters. It also describe the scenery by changing and making conditions involved. It enables students to practise writing about something with the combination of dynamic and static state. Then it researches the writing of composition by going forward, romance, stacking and analyse, which are the main methods in the art of composition.
