The research object of this thesis is Hong Kong primary Chinese textbooks “I like learning Chinese”.Based on the generalized knowledge view of cognitive psychology,I used literature research and content analysis to analyze the textbooks' writing knowledge through declarative writing knowledge part and procedural writing knowledge part.My thesis contains five chapters.Chapter One: Introduction.I introduced the research origins,research significances and research methods.I made the definitions of "knowledge","writing" and "I like learning Chinese".After that I reviewed related studies about knowledge,writing knowledge and textbook writing knowledge.Through literature review,I find that nowadays the reach on writing knowledge,in the Chinese textbooks,doesn't have a mature and reliable classification system.Chapter Two: The research basis.In order to get the analysis framework,I analyzed the textbooks through 3 aspects.They are Hong Kong curriculum guidelines,writing-related psychological theories and writing-related pedagogical theory.That is I make this study form below 2 dimensions: the declarative writing knowledge and the procedural writing knowledge.Chapter Three: Study on the declarative writing knowledge of “I like Chinese”.I studied the contents and characteristics of the declarative writing knowledge.For the contents,I focused on words,punctuation,sentences,rhetoric and discourse practices etc.Getting an overview of the declarative writing knowledge,from grade one to grade six.Chapter Four: Study on the procedural writing knowledge of “I like Chinese”.I studied the contents and characteristics of procedural writing knowledge.For the contents,I focused on style,the writing process and the use of basic writing knowledge.Getting an overview of the procedural writing knowledge,from grade one to grade six.Chapter Five: Do summary and evaluation for the writing knowledge characteristics of “I like Chinese”.Summing up the writing knowledge's following characteristics: the basic knowledge of declarative writing is rich;the procedural writing knowledge is operational;the writing knowledge is shown clearly.I alsoprovided following inspiration and advice for the writing knowledge of contemporary Chinese primary textbooks.They are building the declarative writing knowledge system,providing specific and detailed procedural writing knowledge,showing the writhing knowledge clearly.
