With the deepening of the new round of basic education curriculum reform progresses, our basic education is at an important period of change and transition. As the popularity of historical knowledge to support high school students —— history textbooks, it’s written history educators increasingly attracted attention.since the reform and opening up,People’s Education Press(hereinafter referred to as the PEP) published in the country is a representative,the author of history textbooks PEP personality educational content for statistical analysis, from the horizontal distribution is a reasonable point of view, portrait two sets of middle and high school textbooks convergence point of view on the adequacy of the content of character education. Some of them come to seem too successful and deficiencies, provide recommendations for future reference for the preparation of new textbooks. Also helps us history teachers carefully designed course content, multi-angle to explore textbook character education resources, improve the motivation of students learning history in the context of students personality qualities, as well as a comprehensive practice "people-oriented" philosophy of education has an important practical significance. This thesis is divided into four parts:The first part is an introduction, including the definition of related concepts, research status, purpose and significance of the study and research of guidance methods and innovations.The second part, in this section, mainly from the pedagogy, history of development, psychology three perspectives of history textbooks analyzed separately emphasis on character education. Emphasis on character education textbook describes profound theoretical basis, indicating the importance of history textbooks students healthy personality shaping.Thesecondarythecontent,theandthetextbookdevelopmenteducationstudents;curriculum "life",personalityisThe fourth part is thinking and recommendations. In this section, the author analyzed based on the absence of a market economy under the relevant issues triggered by the character education, first proposed to strengthen history education. First, change the educational concept, build a healthy personality of students for the purpose of history education philosophy. Second, take advantage of the history textbooks and history classes, personality development of appropriate targets. Third, make full use of the rich history of extra material to shape students’ sound personality. Fourth, changes in teaching methods, strengthen the implementation of character education. Secondly, in the preparation of materials like too deficiencies proposed some modifications such as changing the views of textbooks, "one" phenomenon; unearth hidden personality connotation from explicit knowledge; the emphasis on the role of textbooks in the picture. Again in the history classroom should implement the relevant principles of character education. As in the resistance principle, the principle of openness, effectiveness principle and the development of principles.
