An Empirical Study On The Characteristics Of Entrepreneur 's Population Background And The Innovation Performance Of Business Model

Entrepreneurs should take full responsibility of decision-making about business model innovation. The paper studies the enterprise business model innovation performance from the power of business model innovation which is entrepreneurs. According to the characteristics of entrepreneur, it considers the effects of entrepreneur traits on business model innovation performance from four aspects which is the entrepreneur’s age, gender, education and tenure.In the paper, it explains the effects of entrepreneur traits on business model innovation performance in the study that summary of the theory analysis, hypothesis, empirical design, results, conclusions and suggestions. Based on the theory of upper echelons theory, limited rationality theory, social cognitive theory, self efficacy theory and resource based theory, it analyzes the demographic traits of entrepreneurs and refines it into four aspects which is entrepreneurs’age, gender, education and tenure. Then, it proposes the following hypothesis that age of entrepreneurship and business model innovation performance has an inverted "U"-type relationship; compared with male entrepreneurs, the business model innovation performance of female entrepreneurs is higher; entrepreneurs education is positively related to the business model innovation performance; Entrepreneur has a "U" type relationship associated with the business model innovation performance.Finally, based on the research findings, it puts forward corresponding advice on policy recommendations. First, The entrepreneurs must build social network capital; second, entrepreneurs must constantly improve the richness of cognitive structure; third, entrepreneurs should develop and improve the business model innovation thinking. So that it can guarantee to obtain business mode innovation performance from entrepreneurs perspective.
