The Application Of Case Work In Relieving Postgraduates' Marriage Stress

The pressure is becoming even greater with the accelerated pace of life, the types of pressure is also increasing.Today,people didn’t got married under their parents’ orders and by matchmakers’ help like the ancient society,everyone began to pursue free love and marriage.But the marriage has become a puzzle which some people have to face,there are a large number of high-degree single people in colleges and universities.With the increasing of the number of highly educated single groups,more and more scholars have started to pay attention to high-degree single group’s marriage problem.Nowadays,many graduate students under the great psychological pressure,such as academic pressure, employment pressure, economic pressure and its like,and marriage pressure can not be neglected which has been a part of the graduate students’ psychological pressure. Depending on the individual situation,some psychological stress may be enlarged,lead to their own emotional anxiety and panic,resulting in some new psychology,when all the pressure together.This problem of high-degree,older single people under great marriage pressure is not accidental,this is inevitable from the social development and individual demand perspective.In this paper,the result based on the survey of graduate student groups in one university, the writer learned their psychological pressure, focus on a survey of their pressure in love and marriage, studied their present situation of the marriage pressure, the causes of stress and coping styles.And the paper also focuses on the applicability of the methods of case social work in reducing the personal psychological pressure.This article discussed the application of methods of case work in alleviating the postgraduate’s marriage pressure,by presenting a case which the writer had done.In the last,the writer discussed the importance of methods of case work and the role of social workers in regulating postgraduate’s marriage pressure,through the investigation and analysis of the case.Putting forward some feasible suggestions for the work of colleges and universities, which indicates the necessity and importance of introducing to social work in colleges and universities.
