| In recent years, children’s reading activities are being hold in all parts of the country, both parents and schools,social reading extensive pay much attention to children. Also is about children education question why so big contrast?Children’s literature works are not being full use of in primary school teaching material,which is perhaps the most key reason.This paper focused on PEP primary Chinese textbook,as an example to analyze Children literature in the Chinese textbooks.First of all, the introduction part includes the research object and methods,the research origin and content, the research present situation and problems of three contents. Part in the research origin and content focus on analysis of the current on children’s literature in the elementary school language teaching material, several research part in the present research situation and problems,mainly analysis to the current one in the Chinese textbooks for primary school children’s literature phenomenon as an example of academic papers.The first chapter is an overview of children’s literature and the elementary school language teaching material. The first section is mainly combined with home and abroad scholars about children’s literature point of view to discuss what is children’s literature. Mainly from the definition of children’s literature, the relationship between children’s literature and the adult literature and discusses two aspects. The second section mainly analyzes the features and functions of children’s literature. Children’s literature features include a unique aesthetic features and language features of two aspects. Functions of children’s literature including cultivation children’s aesthetic temperament and interest, emotion,games, entertainment function, education function, stimulate the imagination.From the elementary school language teaching material in the third section is about the definition, development history, the current teaching material problems in the three parts of primary school language teaching material for analysis.The second chapter mainly discuss the relationship between the elementary school language teaching material and children’s literature. By western and Chinese and western children’s literature in the teaching material of usage, Take folk literature as an example to discuss the elementary school language teaching material adapted for children’s literature,the effect of the textbook editors and writers on the aspects of guiding the students’ reading.The third chapter teaching material of children’s literature works genre analysis,according to statistics the article genre. Combining with the teaching material selection, respectively from the nursery rhymes and children’s poem,fairy tale, specific analysis of present situation of children’s literature in the textbook.The fourth chapter illuminates that children’s literature in the elementary school language teaching material development present situation and problems.First the stability of the article choice in the textbooks. Last is the effect of the guide reading in textbooks.Chapter five from the teachers’ quality, the influence of the exam-oriented education, insufficiency of textbook writers and works out of children’s actual life,writer aspects such as the lack of children’s Angle of view analysis, children’s literature can not merge with the elementary school language teaching material completely.In conclusion, although the situation is not very satisfactory, but in children’s literature as the main body of the primary school teaching mode has been compared with the previous teaching material has made great progress, close tothe children of the world in the future years, children’s happy teaching materials also need all enthusiastic education society the joint efforts of people from all walks of life.
