On The Education Of College Students' Socialist Core Values ​​and The Countermeasures

Socialist core values is put forward and perfect marks a major breakthrough in the field of ideology in contemporary China. Contemporary college students are in a critical period of ideological form, college students’ value orientation determines the value orientation of the entire Chinese nation. Therefore, the colleges and universities become the main position of college students’ socialist core values education. The eighteen report of the Chinese Communist Party has been clear about the content of socialist core values. It points out that we should advocate the prosperous and strong, democratic, civilized and harmonious, advocate freedom, equality, justice and rule by law, advocate patriotic, dedication, honesty and kindness, and so that we can cultivate socialist core values actively. It indicates the specific direction of education for the colleges and universities to carry out the socialist core values education. It is the opinion on the cultivation and practice of socialist core values issued by The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China that in detail elaborated how to cultivate and practice the socialist core values from six aspects, and it also provides the methodology guidance for colleges and universities to carry out the socialist core values education. This article begins with the connotation of socialist core values education in colleges and universities, analyzes the problems and reasons deeply that socialism core values education in colleges and universities are faced with, and puts forward some specific strategies to solve these problems. This part discusses mainly from four aspects: Strengthening ideological guidance, broadening the way of school management, optimizing the campus environment and social environment.
