The Application Of Mathematical History In The Teaching Of Calculus In Middle School

With the application and development of calculus, causing more and more national attention to teaching calculus, calculus teaching content is not just our university higher mathematics. Now also entered the high school mathematics textbooks, then this textbook reform All front-line teachers and students are new challenges. So far teachers, by what kind of teaching methods in order to make it easier for students to understand that this is a continuous process of exploration and research. So it was suggested that the early history of mathematics applied to secondary school mathematics teaching this idea. So study this question more and more people, both domestic and international research. And now more and more people begin to pay attention to this matter.High school calculus teaching position in the new curriculum as so important, then how to make this part of the course content to achieve our goal of teaching, it will be applied to the history of mathematics teaching high school calculus is probably a good way. So my main problem is to study the history of applied mathematics teaching high school calculus, through their own personal practice, chose to control classes and experimental classes were teaching traditional teaching and application of calculus. And after teaching, conducted a survey, including proficiency testing and teaching feedback.The results showed that the history of mathematics in teaching high school calculus biggest benefit may increase students’interest in learning, but for achievements in teaching and not much impactand according to the data obtained were analyzed, obtained my findings. Finally, according to their own teaching experience, designed two calculus teaching the history of mathematics applied to instructional design for reference.
