Research On The Teaching Strategies Of Senior High School Mathematics In The Background Of New Curriculum Reform

In2014, the point-adding event of entrance exam has been canceled in the New Educational Reform, such as academic Olympiads and the leading program. But accordingly, schools have put forward selection policies like "Autumn Camp" and "Summer Camp", which encourages the "specialty students service". As the foundation of natural science and technological science, math is the indispensable test subject. With the deep implementation of the New Curriculum Reform, there are lots of changes in the knowledge system and contents of math in high school. However, experts believe these changes will bring negative impact on the cultivation of math specialty students. On this basis, literature review and questionnaires are adopted to investigate the bottleneck factors affecting the improvement of math specialty students and math teaching strategies. Conclusions are as follows.(1) Math teaching problems for specialty students in high school include:decline of problem-solving abilities and initiative learning efficiency; over-comments or biased manner in the process of teaching and in teaching strategies; bottleneck problem of math specialty students such as the learning habit, learning willingness and cognition of learning math. Above problems restrain the improvement of math specialty students. Among them, the teaching strategy of teachers is the key factor affecting the improvement of math specialty students.(2) To deal with the key bottleneck problem, this paper proposes a new teaching strategy of "learning before teaching and exercises in class". There are some points we need to pay attention to when implementing this strategy:pre-class preparation should be adequate; students’participation are expected throughout the whole class;"three turns" can be realized in the criteria of class assessment. Conditions for the implementation of the strategy mainly include:all students are involved; homework is standardized; strict teaching and learning measures are upheld for a long term; teachers’quality are fully improved; strict assessment is carried out and efforts to strengthen the strategy are made.
