With the acceleration of China’s economy with the world, the demands for Chinese language learning around the world have increased. Chinese has become the most popular language learned by other countries. As China’s neighbors, Thailand isclosely linked with China in the historically. Recent years in Thailand, the rapid development of Chinese language teaching, the number of schools opened for Chinese language courses, the number of students learning Chinese are exponentially. At the same time, Thailand has also become learners studied by many scholars.Although the relevant educational research itself has noted the importance of the Thai Chinese learners to learn Chinese language, but most of these studies remain in the discussion of research on student motivation, few researchers will research effort involving students. Evaluation of student learning are mostly based on the subjective judgment of teachers, there is no system of objective data show. This makes proposals proposed by researchers to stimulate students’motivation have not been targeted, which make researchers cannot know the motivation of students with different learning effort of specific differences. Therefore, teachers cannot select this after teaching courses of Chinese language for propose specific data support. In this paper, Nakhon Pathom Samphan County600middle school students for the study, the correlation analysis to investigate the extent of their motivation and learning efforts to be both, and draw the appropriate conclusions.Firstly, the article introduces the object of study, research methods, and expounds related research on the Chinese domestic and international status of motivation and Chinese learning. Secondly, with the SPSS statistical tools for survey data was subjected to a detailed analysis, including analysis of motivation, and the impact of students’ motivation related factors. Again, use the specific objective analysis of the different types of student motivation to learn the extent of positive class teaching, after-school learning and differences school Chinese use. Finally, I do a full concluded text of the study, pointing out the inadequacies of the study and propose further research ideas.
