Teaching Chinese as a second language in Thailand. On the one hand, Hanban increasing support of Thai Chinese volunteer teachers sent and make made great progress in Chinese teaching. On the other hand, Thai students learning Chinese growing with each passing day, and the importance of Chinese in Thailand are increasingly strengthen. Make achievements, at the same time we should also notice the Chinese character teaching in the teaching of Chinese has been at the stage of the lag, then the teachers teaching Chinese characters lack of cognition caused a certain effect on the students.This paper use literature, questionnaire, observation and other methods for investigating the situation of Chinese character cognition and teaching strategies. The article, a total of four parts, the introduction, Chinese characters cognition situation investigation, the results of the survey and analysis, the strategies of Chinese characters teaching. The introduction part elaborated the selected topic reason, subject research value, and carding predecessors’ research. At the same time, the investigation content and key, theoretical foundation, research methods are expounded. The second chapter investigation into Chinese characters cognition of Rajavinitbangkhen school students. Mainly includes the students’ cognition for Chinese characters, the cognition of ontology Chinese characters, the recognition of Chinese characters learning and memory method. The third chapter carries on the second chapter, analysis the second chapter survey statistics and found that the characteristics of the students in Chinese character recognition. The fourth chapter combining previous teaching suggestions and the special problems of the school put forward concrete and relevant teaching strategy of the teachers and students learning strategies.According to the results of the survey analysis summarized to improve students’ Chinese character cognition strategy, including the teachers are:organic combination of Chinese characters and Chinese teaching, improve the volunteer teachers’ teaching ability, using Chinese characters teaching strategy, improve the state of Chinese characters teaching, the teaching contents according to the arrangement of Chinese character levels. Students are: according to the characteristics of Chinese memorization meaning of Chinese characters, Chinese characters according to the Chinese character component, components and classification of cognitive positive transfer, the use of mother tongue, pragmatic strategy, the use of auxiliary software, strengthen the cognition of Chinese characters. Right and perfect Chinese characters teaching strategy can make the students improve in terms of cognition and understanding of Chinese characters. Dadurch teachers’ teaching strategies and students’ cognitive strategies to promote Thailand students Chinese characters cognition.
