The Study Of Chinese Character Stroke Order In Karunasuksa School Students

The topic of this research is the study of Chinese character stroke order inKarunasuksa school students.More and more people to learn Chinese and learn how to write Chinesecharacters. Compared Chinese characters with other language characters, it is notdifficult to find that foreign students, the same as Thai students, learn to write Chinesecharacters is very difficult. In order to sove this problem，students need to learn thestroke of writing Chinese character. As a result，there should be a research focusing onChinese character stroke order. According to the findings, basically we can distinguishthe stroke ordering into seven methods: horizontal before vertical; diagonalsright-to-left before diagonals left-to-right; top before bottom; left before right; outsidebefore inside; inside before enclosing; and center stroke before wings. The objective ofthis research is to study the stroke order writing in Karunasuksa school students; thesamplings are grade4-6students of Karunasuksa school. There are190studentsparticipated in this survey, including60students from grade4,70students from grade5,60students from grade6.It is seen from the survey results that after they learning the stroke of writingChinese character, the students of grade4can remember simple Chinese character suchas numbers character. In contrast, when they learn the Chinese character such ashello,we can get lower rate of writing Chinese character correctly. Compared to theability of writing Chinese characters, students of grade5is better than students ofgrade4.A lot of students have grasped the rule of writing Chinese character. students ofgrade6got higher learning outcomes. Through analyzing this research which is the studyof Chinese character stroke order in Karunasuksa school students, The results can beused to improve the teaching of Chinese stroke order.
