Research On The Characteristics Of Technique And Tactics Of Chinese Table Tennis Players Zhu Yu Ling

This study aims to summarize and analyze the tennis skill and tactic of Zhu Yuling, a new star in Chinese women’s table tennis team, to make quan titative analysis of all her tactics in various competitions, and identify the application times, types and effects of different techniques and tactics, supporting her future training and competition. In this study, literature, video observation method, mathem atical statistics, and comparative analysis are adopted to analyze result data 30 comp etitions of Zhu Yuling, obtaining relevant data and analytical results as follows:1.Between 2012 to 2014, there is no difference in Zhu Yuling’s serve way, she always adopts stand serve with different skills to create rotation, with relatively single choice for serve line. Although there is no big change in landing point, the service ace rate keeps high, reaching 12.84% in 2013, with an average of 11.33%. Her serve quality is on the rise with more and more high stability and advantages.2.As for her serve steal score from 2012 to 2014, Zhu Yuling has a slightly decreasin g offensive technology while increasing controlling skills. Besides, her third plate quality keeps increasing. Backhand is the main method to attack. Her forehand usin g rate increases with better quality while the backhand-forehand-mixed attack scores low. Her ball controlling skill improves, with no big changes in score and loss rate; in general, Zhu Yuling’s third plate is initiative, with a strong attack. But during attack, she uses less tossing attack or backhand-forehand-mixed attack, with single tactic. Her attacking line is mainly focused on left slash, with a decreasing rete from 50.43% in 2012 to 34.27% in 2014, and right slash, with an increasing rate from 15.65% in 2012 to 35.39% in 2014, indicating an obvious change from the use of left slash to right slash. Besides, the right slash scoring rate improves from 12.50 % in 2012 to 27.37% in 2014, with no big change in controlling line. The drop spots are mainly on the center and far table of the center line. Attacking tactic and controlling skill are more stable when drop spots are on the center table of the centerline.3.As for her receive steal score from 2012 to 2014, Zhu Yuling’s performance is relatively stable. She has accurate judgment to rotation ball and complete receiving and stealing system. She mainly adopts controlling skill, with the main use of long shot and drop shot. Her long shot quality decreases while her drop shot improveswith stability, scoring rate improves from 6.45% in 2012 23.21% in 2013. The second plate tactics is counter-pulling, and forehand chop skills and smash next, with flexible use of technology. The fourth board mainly uses controlling technology, and defensive skills and offensive techniques next. Her receive steal tactics maintain the similar quality and stability. Her attacking tactic is mainly counter-pulling with higher quality and stability. Her forehand chop skill has changing qualities but good stability. Her receive steal line is flexible, mainly in two slashes while attacking. The right slashes accounts for an increasing rate with obvious effect in controlling. The fourth controlling lines are mainly left slash and middle straight line; the second panel drop spot has an improved quality in the middle line near the table.4.During 2012 to 2014, Zhu Yuling has a better backhand capacity during stalemate while her forehand capability is weaker. Her backhand- forehand changing speed is obviously slower than backhand continuity speed, without the ability of continuously attack. In stalemate, she mainly adopts control technology, and offensive and defensive techniques then. During stalemate, the more the plates, the more the defense conversion. The fifth board control technology use accounts for a bigger amount, with increasing use rate and score rate, with reaches 49.81% and 23.53% in 2014 respectively, and this has a close relationship to one’s own style. To find opportunity inside controlling. The sixth board controlling use accounts for a less amount. When defense technologies increase, the quality will decrease despite of the stability of the defense. Left slash has a better effect in the fifth board offensive. Right slash has an increasing rate in in the fifth board defense with better effect and increasing scoring rate. Sixth plate offensive lines are left and right slashes, combine d with other routes, with flexibility. Middle and far table are the main drop spots with low stability. The seventh and later boars mainly adopt controlling technology. The controlling lines are middle straight and then left and right slashes. Middle and far table is of high quality but low stability, with more scores as well as more losses.5.From the past few years of competitions, we can see that Zhu Yuling has a compact technology convergence during the first three boards, with strong sense of attack. Her main attacking skill is counter-puling and her forehand pulling tactic is in creasing. She uses more control technology and defensive skills, making thecompetition into a stalemate of multiple boards and rounds. Her attacking lines and drop spots are flexible. She has weak initial awareness of conversion of attack and defense. In attacking, she has weak strength. Forehand stalemate ability and Zhu Yuling consecutive offense is an urgent problem need to be solved for Zhu Yuling. Besides, she needs to strengthen the psychological quality to always keep a good attitude.
