Plane analytic geometry is the important part of high school mathematics content.The basic idea of analytic geometry method is calculated by algebraic solving geometric problems, the geometric relation algebra. Analytic geometry perfectly connect algebra and geometry, it occupies very important status in the high school mathematics. Analytic geometry problem appear in the annual college entrance examination mathematics examination paper, at the same time in high school math contest analytic geometry problems often occur. Therefore, studies of analytic geometry teaching high school has become a hot spot in the study of mathematics education teaching in high school.Straight line and the conic is an important content in the analytic geometry. To Straight line and the conic questions, usually the problem solving method is "system of equations", the linear equation and the equations of conical section. Studying the equation solution to study the straight line and the conic questions. Although "system of equations" in straight line and the conic question unanswered is general, but when using the "system of equations" answer relatively large amount of calculation, easy to get wrong. And for some straight line and the conic questions "point-minus method" can be used to solve. "Point-minus method" is than when a straight line and the conic have two intersection points: A and B, put the two coordinates in conic equation of two equations, the two equations for simplify relevant conclusions. "Point-minus method" is essentially a set and don’t beg, the substitution of mathematical method, embodies the transforming ideas of mathematics, if properly used, can greatly reduce the computational complexity, and optimize the problem solving process, have good effect in solving conic problems. But "Point-minus method" was poorly applied in a comprehensive study of analytic geometry teaching. Therefore, this paper in summarized on the basis of the teaching of analytic geometry, by means of "point-minus method", The application of "point-minus method" to analytic geometry teaching makes a comprehensive study. This paper focuses on the basic principle of "Point-minus method" and the analysis in the equation of the straight line, in the point of trajectory, and in midpoint chord.Through the comparing of "point-minus method" and "system of equations"," reflects "point-minus method" in solving the problem of analytic geometry of usefulness and ease of use, and get a certain teaching enlightenment. Finally, on how to apply "Point-minus method" solving the problem of analytic geometry in the teaching,this paper puts forward the problem-solving strategies about teaching and the teaching strategy of some suggestions.
