The Reform Program of Implementation of Elementary Education Curriculum explicitlypoints out that it is necessary to promote information technology in the teaching process aswell as the integration of curriculum and information technology", It is also proposed in theHigh School Mathematics Curriculum Standard that the integration of information technologyand mathematics curriculum in teaching philosophy and the application of informationtechnology have become the inevitable trend in the development of mathematics teaching.Analytic geometry, as a high school compulsory and basic course, the main contentincludes straight line, circle and conic; distinct characteristics can be seen from theimportance attached to its background, application and thinking. The coordinate method is abasic approach and the basic idea is the one that combines form and number. The achieving ofthese goals needs the help of information technology, through information technology willanalytic geometry abstract content of the image, intuitive display. In addition, the analyticgeometry teaching material is integrated into the content of "information technology". As aresult, in analytic geometry teaching, the application of information technology has becomeone of the essential skills of teachers. However, it is common that teachers often fail in theapplication of information technology to solve the problem of analytic geometry and not to beable to find a reasonable starting point, so the use of information technology in analyticgeometry teaching only stays at surface level. The author, through theory combined withpractice, expounds on the teaching application of analytic geometry information technology inthe six parts:The introduction part first analyzes the research background on the application ofinformation technology in analytic geometry teaching, followed by the explanation of theresearch purpose, significance, content and method in the application of informationtechnology in analytic geometry teachingLiterature review is an analysis the connotation of analytic geometry, the teaching targets,and features of teaching. The defining of the concept of information technology, Creation ofthe change of teaching methods, teaching situation, the cultivation of the number form combining ideas, form the perspective of the overall concept of the application of informationtechnology in analytic geometry teaching significance; Finally, the research status at homeand abroad are analyzed.The third part is the exploration of the functions of the analytic geometry, combiningwith case analysis in the analytic geometry teaching application of information technology tocultivate students a whole concept several form combining ideas, and the influence of theabstract thinking ability.The fourth part is the center of this article. Firstly, study is made to the breakthroughpoint of analytic geometry teaching application of information technology, and combined withcase analysis with knowledge and skills, process and method, emotional attitude and values asthe breakthrough point of the integration strategy; Secondly, analysis is launched in terms ofthe application of information technology in analytic geometry teaching auxiliary principle,the principle of suitability, the principle of appropriateness and effectiveness, and sums up theapplication of information technology teaching in analytic geometry teaching five basic steps:the use of information technology to create problem situation put forward problems, the useof information technology for the answers, the use of information technology to solveproblems, organizing students to discuss problems and timely summarize the five steps;Follow these principles, finally analyzed according to the five basic steps in three cases, oneis the concept of analytic geometry teaching application of information technology teachingcases, the other is a recitation in the case of application of information technology, the last is arecitation in the application of information technology teaching cases.The fifth part is conclusion and prospect, mainly a summary of the conclusions of thisstudy as well as it revelation.In this paper, it is hoped that the research can be of some help for guiding domesticmathematics teacher in high school and be of some referential significance for their use ofinformation technology in the teaching of analytic geometry.
