Modern society is in a period of rapid development in science and technology, knowledge and information are updating at amazing speed. In order to adapt this kind of situation, we are required to do lifelong learning. Any form of education will not teach all the knowledge to learners, so the school education must transferred from teaching students to learn knowledge into the cultivating of students’ ability of learning, which requires students to have the ability of autonomous learning.The 11 th graders in a certain senior high school were chosen as the subjects in this study. Through the questionnaire survey as well as observation and interview, the author made a survey of the effectiveness of independent study practice and evaluated the influence of teachers’ behavior on high school students’ autonomous learning ability in Chinese, mathematics, English, physics, chemistry and geography in six subject. The results are found:(1) In mathematics, physics and Chinese, compared with ordinary class, the students in the experimental class think that the teacher uses more strategies for students’ auto-learning in the teaching process;(2) In physics and the Chinese, compared with the beginning of the semester, the experimental class students thought that the teacher during the semester use more strategies;(3) In the Chinese, the experimental class students’ autonomous learning ability is significantly improved higher than that of the common class;(4) In physics and the Chinese, compared with the beginning of the semester, the experimental class students’ autonomous learning ability improved;(5) In Chinese, the results of the students in the experimental class show higher than the ordinary class.To sum up, the teaching practice of learning in Chinese and physics has been recognized by the students. What’s more, in the experimental teaching of Chinese, students’ autonomous learning ability improved apparently, and so does the academic performance of students in an extent. |
