The training goal of specialized course of table tennis in 8 colleges and universities in Shandong province are consistent with the new "Curriculum Plan" requirements, but some teachers in the actual teaching process is still in the technical and tactical ability oriented culture, deviating from the target of training. From an overall perspective, practice teaching content heavy and light theory.2. Shandong Province eight college tennis elective time in the open more unified, generally less number of hours. In the teaching process, teachers teaching method based on the conventional, modern teaching means application rate is not high; adopts the form of collective class teaching new content, free matching exercises way; assessment content focused on theory, technique and tactics, ability and the usual four aspects of performance evaluation methods, focusing on summative evaluation, evaluation subject based on teachers.3. The 8 universities of Shandong Province,5 universities use the Higher Education Publishing House of the "table tennis tutorial",3 universities use the" Table Tennis Teaching and training", the use of table tennis teaching material comparison of single.4. Eight universities in Shandong province have indoor table tennis venues, the number of facilities and equipment can meet the need of teaching table tennis specialized, but can not meet the demand of students extracurricular exercise.5. From an overall perspective, the table tennis specialized teachers of age structure is higher; college education degree; the title to associate professors; table tennis technical standards is generally; professionalism and teaching ability is good, colleges and universities table tennis professional teachers less. Students of table tennis specialized have higher interest in table tennis; but in physical fitness and athletic performance is poor; most of the students have a clear learning motivation; the extracurricular practice is poor.According to the problems existing in the present situation, this article combined with the reality of the social development of the demand for talents of colleges and universities, puts forward the following suggestions and strategies:1.
