Since the beginning of the last century, along with the college enrollment caused by the surge in the number of students in the school and the teacher resource shortages become a major problem faced by the university. To alleviate this situation, many colleges and universities continue to introduce teachers. More and more young teachers continuous influx into the ranks of university teachers. On september 2,2014, the Ministry of Education held a news conference to announce the basic situation of the teachers in 2013. According to the latest statistics, in 2013, full-time teachers in various schools nationwide 1476.82 million, of which 149.69 million full-time teachers colleges and universities.45 years old young teachers reached 107.6 million, accounting for 72% of the country’s full-time teachers; if in accordance with the proportion of 40-year-old to dash, young teachers are more than 60%. Local Comprehensive University as an important part of our colleges and universities, young teachers has become a local comprehensive university teachers of the main force, in terms of teaching, research, management, and social services,young university teachers are the backbone of the power plays and hardcore. Young college teachers typically have a higher education, compared with deep expertise, however, in the course of professional development of teaching practice also exists a lack of knowledge, teaching ability is not strong, self-development and poor feasibility. How to stimulate the enthusiasm of young college teachers ’professional development, and promote the health of young college teachers’ professional development and become one of the important topics of current concern to higher education.As we all know, college teachers unlike other stages of teachers, high academic and professional and strong is the main character, the young university teachers as the main force for the development of university plays a vital role, but the young university teachers professional development is still not taken seriously enough. Many local colleges reality is that over-rigid administration, interpersonal competition is fierce and the heavy pressure of teaching and research, making the local comprehensive university young teachers living space has been severely squeezed, seriously affecting the local comprehensive young university teachers’ professional development, which has become a real problem of local comprehensive university urgent need to address. So the status of the professional development of local comprehensive university young teachers conduct surveys and studies on a very important practical significance.This study of local comprehensive university, young teachers and teacher professional development on the basis of the definition of concept, elaborated on stage and teacher professional development, lifelong education theory and the theory of self-realization, and these theories as the basis, select the Y young teachers at the University of the research object, through in-depth Discussion on development status of young university teachers ’professional Y, Y to explore strategies to promote the professional development of young teachers in university, so seek out a place for young comprehensive university teachers’ professional development path, and provide direction and inspiration for the value of personal and professional development of young teachers in local comprehensive university.
