With the rapid development of science and technology, the Internet era has arrived and the pace of development has exceeded the expectations, just a few years time, previously thought unreachable network teaching has already become a reality, and exceeded the goals and dreams. Use of online teaching to the flexible and convenient way of learning caused widespread concern. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the online instructional technology in the history teaching in middle school, for the discipline of history characteristics, pointing out the necessity.The research on online teaching in China mainly develops from experience in the developed countries, but there is no mature theory system.. The research on online teaching is focused on the construction of the pattern and the performance index, and the application of the practice subject is less.. This paper is to online teaching methods in history as the breakthrough point, through comparative history online teaching and traditional history teaching, highlights the advantages of online teaching of history and traditional history teaching.Society is developing, the development of online teaching technology can make up for the shortage of traditional education, so that more people can accept the influence of education. The structure of the talented person who needs to develop the times has also changed greatly, from the single talent need to be transformed to the need of compound talents.. After the emergence of social to the need for the compound talents, the whole society advocates lifelong learning, the appearance of online teaching can meet the need of the society for the lifelong study.This paper is mainly divided into four parts to introduce online teaching technology, the first chapter mainly explains the basic theory of online teaching technology, including the difference between the meanings of online teaching and traditional teaching, online teaching technology; the second chapter mainly discusses the use of online teaching technology in the history course, including the implementation of the use of online teaching in the history of technology in the course of necessity, online teaching in history curriculum in the situation; the third chapter take Jiangsu Open University as an example, the feasibility analysis of online education in the history teaching, learning the successful experiences of running Open University in Jiangsu; the fourth chapter is the use of online teaching presents a reflection technology, put forward online problems in teaching, thinking how can the better online teaching technology used in history.As the online teaching technology is still emerging technology in China, the specific application of the subject in middle school is less, I hope this paper can be useful for future research in this field.
