Moral epistemology is the important theoretical premise and foundation of moral education. Survey of Chinese and western philosophy show that the thinkers of moral epistemology has a more or less different views, under throughout the discussion focused on three questions:first, the view of subject; Second, the view of moral; Third, the view of moral way. In view of the different understanding of these three questions, we can integrate two big moral epistemology thoughts, one of which is the empiricism moral epistemology.The view of subject of empiricism moral epistemology thought, people are living in the human world, and the pursuit of ideal state of existence for unity with the world. Living people in the world is no ascribed meaning, people must rely on themselves to seek in their life experience and sense of self is confirmed. The view of subject of empiricism moral epistemology thought, there is no objective and universal moral ethics is neither knowledge, nor a universal law. Morality is one form of self-improvement in experience, is the best response to situational approach. The view of moral way of empiricism moral epistemology is practice, moral knowledge acquisition is not moral acquisition, morality into practice in person. Self-reflection in practical experience, in order to understand the connotation of moral, and spiritual awareness thoroughly grasp the true meaning of ethics.Empiricism moral epistemology emphasis on experience,it is important and even decisive. Tend to be individual and unique experience, lack of unified and general content, the resulting moral is difficult to form a general principle or consensus. Such empiricism moral epistemology has the tendency of a kind of relativism; Due to the lack of universal value standard and easy to produce to the danger of utilitarianism; But the biggest difficulty lies in how to implement the overall unity by the individual experience from person to person.The three difficulties is what empiricism moral epistemology have to overcome.Empiricism moral epistemology provides moral education with enlightenment. Its enlightenment to moral education thought that: students are were in the relationship, they need to find meaning in their life experience; Morality is the student to form in the whole experience of situational best response mode, it should solve the problem of how to access between individual students; The process of moral education is a process of students’ practical and awareness, moral education should let the student to carry on the moral practice, and the role of teacher is to assist students by establishing and guide.The moral education under empiricism moral epistemology must avoid the wrong of empiricism moral epistemology, to avoid causing the cancel the results of the moral education towards relativism, avoid to the utilitarian moral education, leading to unethical to avoid unable to solve the question of how to access between the individual and cause moral education is not conducive to the overall results of happiness.
