A series of mental health education course, which including student-teacher relationships, classmate relationships and class discipline, are introduced to enhance the cohesion of class. A eighth grade class size of 36 students in a Nanjing middle school is being researched using observational methods and case study methods. During this research, the researcher’s participating in the teaching process as assistant class teacher and consultant, to some extent help promoting the foundation of classmate relationships as well as the implementation and supervision of the class discipline, which resulted in the enhancement of the cohesion. Single factor’s pre-test and post-test design was adopted to draw conclusion as below:1. Mental health education courses can improve the relationship between teacher and student, but not very effective.2. Mental health education courses help to build solidarity between students and improve class cohesion.3. Mental health education courses help to improve self-education ability of students and promote the formation of class discipline.
