| The material proportion of the junior middle school biology textbooks is greatly increased with the development of science education and the new curriculum reform. There are thousands of illustrations in the junior high school biology textbooks, graphic combination is appropriate. It has formed a textbook characteristics of "graphic system" so that the knowledge simplicity and vivd which can help students to focus on a good grasp and understand the complex concepts or theories. However, the teachers can’t use the illustrations assisted teaching effectively in the limited time of classroom. The author believes that teachers should pay more attention to the textbook illustrations and master some strategies in illustrated teaching.Therefore, the auther researchers on the application of junior high school biology textbook illustrations in the teaching of Biology. Firstly, it is to understand the theory of textbook illustrations and use text analysis method to study the compositon and classification the illustrations of junior high school biology textbook. The classification are mainly in three aspects ahout location, the represent content of illustrations and the features of the illustration and correlation statistical datas. After reading a lot of literature, the author summed up the role after illustrations in junior middle school biology teaching material in the teaching of biology and put forward the basic strategy of how to use the illustrations in Teaching. Finally, a representative of Jiangsu content textbooks as an example describes how to use in teaching textbook illustrations, mainly made use of appropriate cases, depending on the type of illustration, and then to complete an overall instructional design to reflect. |
