The new curriculum reform advocates the concept that take the student as the main body and people-oriented.This means that the teacher wants to improve the students' interest in learning,and improve the students' knowledge,improve ability and form the correct values of emotional attitude.Fully tap the teaching function of illustrations in the teaching process can contribute to the achievement of goals.In this paper,questionnaire survey method is used for the teachers' understanding about the function of textbook illustrations and the application of textbook illustrations.Conclusions are as follows:(1)most biology teachers could understanding and the apply the teaching function of illustration;(2)Part of the biology teachers present illustrations with multimedia,only not emphasize textbook illustrations(3)Teachers present illustrations relying too much on multimedia;(4)Most of the illustrations of the function has not yet been completely open.Aiming at the problems,the author puts forward the countermeasures:(1)the textbook is given priority to,the illustration of the present multimedia auxiliary;(2)For which has the function of teaching the key illustrations,to lead the students observational learning(3)fully exert the function of the textbook illustrations and application.in this article,literature research and text analysis are used for researching the function of illustrations,it shall be carried out in accordance with the knowledge,ability,emotion manner values classification,on this basis puts forward some teaching function:(1)promoting the students' ability of biological plot;(2)promoting students' ability to extract information and integration of information;(3)improving the visual perception;(4)cultivating students strict truth-seeking attitude;(5)experiencing biological natural beauty of the world;in order to confirm the author puts forward the function of the scientific sex,using the method of practice research,conclusions are as follows:(1)drawing illustrations promotes students' understanding and memory and improves students ability to draw.(2)finishing concept map promote students' understanding and memory than finishing the long passages(3)perceive illustrations is conducive to attract students curiosity and deepen our memory.(4)expressing illustrations can improve students' language competence;(5)teachers draw illustrations on blackboard is easy to have a scientific errors;(6)biology teacher is easy to appear drawing directly not according to the illustration characteristic.Aiming at the problems,the author puts forward some countermeasures to solve;(1)the teacher should study how to draw the illustration is the most scientific and reasonable before class,(2)whether to adopt the way of drawing based on the characteristics of the illustrations.Finally,author hope that through this article presents the problems that exist in the biology teacher in illustration teaching,as well as the function of the textbook illustrations,the biology teachers realize the significance of textbook illustrations.More and more functions of the illustration should be dig by biology teacher,and be applied.
