The coming of information age is closing the communication of people, there are many advantages of the tool of Internet instant message (IM), such as real-time, flexible and so on. More and more people are using it. You can connected with your friends by audio and video in personal and group through the Internet IM. The relative survey found that teenagers are the major users of IM, they can acquire message, communication and entertainment. Teenagers are growing and perfecting in a critical period, they have more communication with friends than that of parents. Peer relation based in peer communication. Peer relation can strong peer friendship and peer acceptance, most of all, peer relation have positive impacts for learning and living. Peer relation is more important than adult in teenagers life.Friendship and acceptance are the two important sides of peer relationship. We acquired the message of IM use, the friendship message and the peer acceptance message through questionnaire. We discussed the relationship between IM use and peer relation. Friendship quality scale and peer rating method are the main methods of the data collectionThe conclusion as following, firstly, the usage of IM of girls are higher than that of boys in middle school. The usage of IM is elevating along with grade ascension. QQ and Wechat are the main communication platform in middle school students. The real life friends are the main communication object. The main topic are living and learning trivia and the interesting things. The network age, intercourse frequency and communication time are lifting along with grade and age, the network age of girls are higher than that of boys. The topic and time with friends become higher through the usage of IM, the influence of school performance is less obviously. Secondly, the friendship quality of girls are higher than that of boys, the conflict and betray of friendship quality of the first grade are higher than that of second grade and high grade. There are obvious positive correlation between network age and closing communication, intercourse frequency and companion, closing, communication time and closing communication. There is obviously negative correlation between communication time and conflict betrayal. All kinds of correlations can explain a small number of relevant variables. Lastly, the peer acceptance of girls are higher than that of boys. The peer acceptance of first grade is obvious higher than that of second grade, the peer acceptance of high grade is higher than that of second grade, the peer acceptance of second grade is lower of all grades. There is positive correlation between network age and peer acceptance, so is intercourse frequency and peer acceptance. There is negative correlation between communication time and peer acceptance. But all correlations of the sides are not obviously.
