A Case Study Of Childhood Drama Experience Of Chinese Modern Cultural Celebrities

What’s the relationship between drama and children? What’s the meaning of drama towards children? Researchers can study not only in the organized drama education but also in multidimensional connections in children’s lives to grasp its meaning. Such as children’s spontaneous dramatic play, and lots of experiences with drama. Therefore, from the childhood drama experiences in the daily life described in cultural celebrity biographies, we can appreciate that children freely react and show the feeling and understanding of drama as well as the role of drama in their lives. These all helps study the realationship and meaning of drama to children from the angle of everyday life. Then deepens our understanding of the nature of drama, expand our mastery of the function and meaning of children’s drama.This paper adopts the way of case study, under the selecting principles of recent times, high-profile and rich research data, selecting ten biographies of eight Chinese modern cultural celebrities as the source of data. In the context of study based on the theory of hermeneutics and childhood, this paper adopts the method of text analysis to summarize, collect and analyze the content and characteristics of childhood drama experience. At the same time under the guidance of aesthetic psychology and drama theory, respectively from the perspective of children and function of drama to reveal their status in drama experience, and the values of drama in their lives. Then show the visual and concrete meanings to children. The study found that children in drama experience show behaviors of drama’s aesthetic and artistic tendency, thinking from drama experience and application in drama experience. The values of drama experience in children’s life contains four aspects: comfort and enrich the childhood life, stimulate the drama imitation or learning desire, the impact on the drama creation in the future and thought influence.Then this paper discussed about the relationships of children’s drama experience with the drama ecological environment, as well as the children’s drama. At last, this paper presents the following conclusions:Childhood drama experience of Chinese modern cultural celebrities present characteristics of diversity, artistry and imbalance; Children in childhood drama experience show the ability of drama aesthetics and creation, creative thinking and application of drama experience. Drama experience play the functions of entertainment,artistic stimulation and socialization in daily life of children.
