The new majorof ethnic Traditional Sports as the national characteristics, more needing to face the test oflimited social needs, employment issues such as ways to test a single, forms of employment isnot optimistic. The higher-learninginstitutions is the main force which offer high-level personnel for the social. Students aregiven higher education in the higher-learning institutions and they provide services for thesociety. So the employment of the college students is closely related to the education of highschool.This paper analysis that the Employment direction Situation through in the investigation of graduates of the major of Ethnic Traditional Sports of Shandong Normal University. It hope that provide a reasonable theoretical guidance to the major of ethnicTraditional Sports in Higher-Learning institutions in Shandong Normal University. In this paper, the grade2006-2009graduates, grade2011-2013students and teachers of themajor of Ethnic Traditional Sport of Shandong Normal University as the research object. The method of literature, questionnaire, interviews, mathematical statistics, logical analysis and other research methods method. Are used to systematically investigate andanalyze the Employment direction Situation, Cultivation factors of employment direction and other aspects of graduates of Ethnic Traditional Sports of Shandong Normal University. And the affect of Cultivation factors are discussed in detail, such as in structure of teaching, cultivation goal, subjects assignment, hardware facility, the educationinternship, employment guidance. Cultivation goal is not comprehensive; curriculum isnot reasonable; the form of teaching organization is single, students are passive; the education internship is weak, students’ practice ability is poor; employment guidance isnot fully; the lack of hardware facility, and it cannot meet the need, etc. Then, offer t he suggestions and countermeasures to improve cultivation of talents and employment:1.Improve the cultivation goal, cultivation of talents should meet the society need, increase professional elective course2.Optimize the courses, adjust the proportion of professional technology and professional theory; form the professional specialty courses; setup corresponding courses that meet the society need3.Teaching organization should bediversification, pay attention to cultivate the student’s ability of organization and management, teaching is not only confined to the classroom and the gym, let the student“going out”, adding “practice lesson”4.Strengthen the link of education practice, establish and consolidate practice base and broaden the scope of practice5.Strengthen employment guidance, provide students with employment information in time, graduate employment review mechanism, and focus on graduate employment trends6.Increase the funds investment of space equipment, meet the needs of the class and students in variousactivities.
