At present, continuing medical education is the most effective way to improve medical level and service level of health professional and technical personnel in our country. Country has made continuing medical education as the important forms to improve the overall health level as, build good public health service system, and promote the development of public health service managements.Since the80s in our country, the introduction of the concept of "lifelong education", the continuing education of in-service health professional and technical personnel is particularly valued. The national medium and long-term education reform and development plan outline (2010-2020)"explicitly pointed out that, to develop continuing education, building a learning society. In2012, the ministry of health issued the "ministry of health on strengthening work continuing medical education during the period of twelfth five-year "guidance", the overall objectives are:focusing on the needs of major health care reform development, to strengthen the "11th five-year plan", on the basis of the development of continuing medical education, further perfecting the system of continuing medical education, basic popularization of continuing medical education, in-depth to carry out a variety of appropriate and effective continuing medical education activities, improve regional medical and health institutions at various levels and of all the health technical personnel’s professional quality and service ability, promote the health system to further improve service performance. Continuing medical education in Yunnan province started in1996, development has been the basic realization of continuing medical education work institutionalize, management standardization, modernization means, continuing medical education activities held by the province project subject coverage reached100%, the province’s medical and health unit at the county (city, district) levels of continuing medical education work coverage reached100%, basic implementation of continuing medical education to the demands of the title link promotion, continue medical education object to obtain credit complying with the trend of rising year by year. But compared with developed areas outside the province, there is a great gap between the medical service level. Especially the three level of first-class hospital in our province, compared with the hospital of domestic developed regions, the difference is more apparent. Therefore, it is necessary for us to investigate and analysis our province three level first-class hospital continuing medical education present situation, in order to provide countermeasures and suggestions on existing problems, make its policy of continuing medical education in our province and develop the healthy development of continuing medical education of hospital offer the theoretical basis of the empirical.This research through the methods of literature review, field investigation and focus interview, a random sample in the tumor hospital of Yunnan province the questionnaire survey to160health professional and technical personnel to one of the competent administrative department of the hospital management and20staff on-site interviews. According to the results of investigation and interview data, descriptive analysis of tumor hospital of Yunnan province continuing medical education existing problems, explore and find the countermeasures to solve the problem. To improve hospital continuing medical education present situation, to promote the healthy development of hospital continuing medical education, at the same time, also for the health administrative departments to provide continuing medical education of Yunnan policy on empirical basis.Through the statistical analysis of survey data to grasp the present situation of hospital continuing medical education data, and the problems found.
