Flipped classroom is a new teaching model which was born out of the Internet era. With the help of network technology and information resource, it changed the traditional teaching activities performed before and in class. This new teaching model which emphasis on students-centered has promotive effect on both students’individual learning and teachers’professional development. In order to make sure flipped classroom is effectively implemented, teachers need to fully understand the idea of it. Instead of insisting on traditional teaching model in which teachers gain sole control of flatforms, teaching activities both performed before and in class have to be redesigned. In addition, Students’ self-quality and ability, teaching environment and facilities can directly affect results.This paper tries to summarize a flipped classroom teaching model of primary school language according to its own features. Sixth graders in Qingdao J Elementary School were chose to be teaching subjects. The researcher designed two Chinese classes with flipped classroom teaching model, implemented them and saw how they went. Through observing during classes, questionnaire and interviewing probe, the researcher got to know how students and teachers think about it. Eventually flipped classroom teaching model is proved to be practical and effective to be applied in elementary school language teaching of our country.This paper consists of six parts.Part one, Abstract. The abstract discussed research background, a general overview of the international and domestic situation about related research and definition of the core conception.Part two, Chapter One. To collect the relative literature and make a summary about the origins, theory foundation and typical flipped classroom teaching models here and abroad.Part three, Chapter Two. Based on flipped classroom teaching theory and typical flipped classroom teaching models here and abroad, and with the practical case in Qingdao J Elementary School considered, here we summarizes elementary school language teaching model with which two teaching cases are made. The designing process, practice process and teaching summary are detailed discussed in this chapter.Part four, Chapter Three. Collecting feedback from students and teachers through observing during classes, questionnaire and interviewing probe makes a concrete analysis of the effects of this educational practice from three aspects which are attitude, achievements and problems.Part five, Chapter Four. We get a thorough understanding about flipped classroom teaching model by discussing its merits and demerits. Then, we suggested countermeasures about how to implement flipped classroom teaching model in our elementary school teaching from two aspects which are scope of application and matching reform measures for implementing.Part six, Conclusion. Combining summary of this research, we get the conclusion that flipped classroom teaching model can be applied to elementary language teaching. At last it concludes the contribution and limitation of the research and indicates the future further research orientation.
