In2011, Long-term Education Reform and Development Plan (2010-2020)” has been released, the state greater emphasis on the combination of information technology and education. The flipped classroom, a reform of classroom teaching mode based on new technology realizes the interaction between the form and the content. It completes the conversion from the center oriented to studying to the teaching, and reflects its reform ideas:people-oriented, student-development-oriented, teaching by learning.While the flipped classroom in the country has made some achievements, but is seldom used in elementary mathematics. Flip the classroom of primary school mathematics carried out mainly in number and algebra this part, involved in the space and shape is less, so this study is to select this part of knowledge space and shape.In this research we mainly used literature research method, case-reflecting, interview method, and the case-researching method. Apply flipped classroom to the teaching of elementarymathematics "Space and shape " incompulsory education. On the base of Literature Research, analyze the base problem of its teaching mode, interpret the flipped classroom teaching case, on the theory of constructivism and ARCS Motivation theory of John. M. Keller. Then come to the design requirements and operation key points for applying to elementary teaching, and provide constructive suggestions for practice.Research finds that there has some followed advantages applying in elementary mathematics:(1) benefit to improving the ability of self-study.(2) benefit of arousing study interest andinitiative.(3) help to cultivate ability of inquiry and practice.(4) benefit to adjust the progress of teaching. The limitations are (1) relate to the level of psychological development, not proper to all the school age students.(2) heavily relying on the hard ware.(3) strict to the Total Level of the Teachers. Searching conclusions:it is feasible to apply flipped classroom to elementary mathematics. Meanwhile we should pay attention to the followed suggestions:(1) take full consideration of the actual situation of students.(2) enhance of comprehensive level of teacher (3) proper carrying according to the hardware environment (4) attention to the connection to real life regard to the Teaching Video and classroom teach.(5) emphasis on the extension and expansion of knowledge on the condition of no reduction of basic knowledge.
