However, what is the current situation of college basketball referee training? And how to improve the training of student basketball referees is still a problem that we need to figure out.The paper applies literature review method, logical analysis and questionnaire to analyze the deficit of training methods of student basketball referees of Sichuan sport colleges. The theory of sports science and education are used to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of students basketball referee training under the circumstance of Sichuan sport colleges. All these research can do great to the basketball referee training and give reference to the sports college for basketball referee training. Through the research and study, the conclusions are drawn as follows.1. The special courses in sport colleges can offer great opportunities for students to gain the theory of referee, but the theory is just the carrier. The teaching objective is to improve the basketball skills and tactics via the theory of referee. Meanwhile, due to the lack of competition, students fail to study the referee theory, and they just on the first stage of learning. This kind of training really fosters a lot of basketball referees.2. The training of basketball referee association really provides great development for the students at the most extent, such as providing various competitions to practice and training of referee theory. All of these do improve the level of student basketball referee. While the disadvantage is the students often reach their bottleneck and fail to improve any more.3. The handing-down teaching method can give students many detailed theories and practical knowledge, which can reach the certain level in a short time. While, this kind of method cost a lot of energy and time. Therefore, it is just applied to a few students.4. There are different training methods in modern society. But the training of basketball referee association tends to perfection.5. The training of basketball referee association is the carrier, together with the systemic theory and employing the professional teachers to different levels of students.
