Research On The Current Situation Of Training China’s High-Level Basketball Referee

The basketball league for more than ten years shows that the existing basketball referee training mode has no longer fits the requirement for professionalism of the league, which even hinders the sound development of China’s basketball to some extent. To fit the development of China’s basketball, the professionalism of basketball referee becomes the goal of the system innovation. It fits not only the development request of socialization, marketization, industrialization of CBA in China, but also the trend and concept of basketball development in the world.This paper refers to kinds of scientific research methods, like questionnaire, expert interview, document literature and statistics, and the research object of this paper is the referees who attend the training class of CBA referees. In the survey, sports administrative officials, experts and referees are interviewed, and the survey analyzed the problems, influencing factors and developing trends in the basic current situation, requirement situation management situation of high-level referees in China, and concluded that:in general, the basketball referees in China has got a higher degree, a higher theoretical level, but a lower English level; the numbers of International-level referees and technological representatives cannot meet the needs of League, which is not effectively resolved in a short time; the young referees in China has little chance to judge a game, to attend training class, to communicate with other referees; the "black whistle" in basketball games shows a growing trend.This paper is combined with NBA professional referee system in America. Currently, it is not the time to professionalize the referees in China. We should take positive and effective measures to improve semi-professionalism to professionalism, so as to improve the ethical standards and professional ability of the basketball referees in China. This paper suggests: establishing the training institution of specialized professional basketball referees; establishing the eliminating-the-last system supervised by media; establishing the relevant laws and regulations, introducing the administration of justice to the league and pushing the professional reform gradually; taking both professional way and amateur way in the case of nascent professionalism.
