Investigation And Research On The Current Situation Of Winter Swimming In Mengqiangwan Swimming Pool In

As people know more about the benefit of winter swimming, an increasing number of people involve in winter swimming activities held by winter swimming agencies. Since the first session of winter swimming activities was held at Meng zhuiwan Swimming Pool in 1965, the pool has been developed into the biggest winter swimming group in Chengdu and even Sichuan province through half the century. It was supported by government under the policy of “Deficiency Payment” with “Safety First” as its core concept. Besides, it takes specific rules and considerable service as its main principles while promoting itself as the destination of municipal winter swimming competition. Against the backdrop, it’s quite necessary to make a survey about the current situation of Meng zhuiwan Swimming Pool for more solutions and experience. For that matter, it offers not only theory support for winter swimming at Meng zhuiwan Swimming Pool in Chengdu itself, but valuable experience for that in other cities. This study of popularizing winter swimming exercise and improve the level of chengdu winter swimming sports has a realistic significance.The article aims at the current situation of Meng zhuiwan Swimming Pool in application with several methods, named literature material method, interview method, questionnaire survey, field method, mathematical statistics and logical analysis. Interviews have been made to management staff of Meng zhuiwan Swimming Pool, relevant staff of the winter swimming club in Chengdu, board members of winter swimming club at Meng zhuiwan Swimming Pool and winter swimmers. And the study concluded that:(1)Its non-profit feature lays the basic foundation for winter swimming activities.(2)Complete safety precautions at Meng zhuiwan Swimming Pool prevent from drowning cases for half the century.(3)Fitness, happiness,friendship and strong, all these serve as the main drivers for numbers of winter swimming amateurs.(4) Winter swimming amateurs are a group of people aiming at body building as certain purpose.(5) Winter swimming serves as a life-long physical building activity with low cost and high yield.(6) Lack of funds because of the main income membership dues.(7)In lack of professional guidance and form loose.Here are some proposals for problems under research:(1) Promotions on safety precautions and preferential tickets at Meng zhuiwan Swimming Pool.(2) Seeking for sponsorship of enterprises for the sake of short fund;(3) Cooperating with Institute of Physical Educations for more professional tutors;(4) Joining in the national winter swimming committee for professional communication nationwide.
