After the new curriculum reform, the "ordinary high school biology curriculum standards" for high school biology curriculum put forward new demands, namely on the basis of completion of compulsory education to further enhance students’ scientific literacy. Accordingly, the People’s Education Press for the new high school biology textbooks were modified, in addition to the traditional text content, but also added some distinctive columns assisted teaching, "thinking and discussion," is one of them. "Reflection and discussion" section is committed to developing students ’scientific literacy, develop students’ thinking skills, improve their level to explore. In recent years, teachers in teaching gradually improve on the "thinking and discussion" section of emphasis. Actual teaching, the teacher as the main set different teaching situations, and fully mobilize the initiative of students, guide students to complete the questions answered. However, due to various reasons, curriculum design, student etc., resulting in part of the "thinking and discussion" section has been neglected, paper PEP biology textbooks in "thinking and discussion" section for the study, to explore its teaching classification and significance analysis of teachers’ Teaching and learning situation, and gives different teaching strategies for different types of "thinking and discussion" section.In this paper, after PEP biological textbook "thinking and discussion" thoroughly analyzed and summarized its classification in the sense of teaching. Youyi classroom teachers Southern Liaoning five high schools and high school students in the school for the survey, for the "thinking and discussion" section in the actual teaching, teachers’ attitudes aspects, teaching methods, improvements and other investigations; also for the students to complete "Reflection and discussion" section of learning attitude, learning to do an investigation. Eventually, on this basis, for PEP high school curriculum standards biology textbooks(compulsory) in "thinking and discussion" section for teaching research.Relying on this article New constructivist theory and activity theory as the theoretical basis, the implementation of the new curriculum will be a true reflection of the status quo as the goal, to provide some material for the preparation of revised and textbooks. In this article, creatively based on "thinking and discussion" section in the real meaning of teaching their classification, specifically related type, summed type, migration type, expanding type, feature type and the use of other disciplinary approach to solve biological problems Type. But according to the biological literacy training, reflect different biological point of view and different types of problems in three dimensions, "thinking and discussion" section of the study teaching strategies described.
