“Ordinary High School Biology Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)” tries hard to help students adapt to the future development and the demand for talents in the information age,and puts forward the basic idea that contains the characteristics of biology and the educational value,which is to cultivate the core literacy of biology of students.The materials and problems presented in the “thinking and discussion” column in the senior high school biology textbooks are instructive and valuable,which is an essential teaching way to cultivate students' biological core literacy.In order to infiltrate the core literacy of biology into the curriculum teaching resources such as the characteristic column of “thinking and discussion”,we should implement the basic educational idea of the new curriculum standards in the classroom teaching activities.From the angle of cultivating students' core literacy of biology,this paper investigated the current teaching situation on infiltrating biological core literacy into the “thinking and discussing” column of biology textbooks in six middle schools of Chongqing city,and then discussed its implementation strategies.The research results are as follows:The results of the questionnaire survey showed that most teachers have a good understanding of the core literacy of biology,and the application of the column“thinking and discussion” in their teachings is relatively high,and the educational value of the column “thinking and discussion” on cultivating students' core literacy of biology can be better recognized.However,there are still three problems to be solved in the teaching process of infiltrating the core literacy of biology into the column “thinking and discussion”:(1)Teachers are deficient in the theoretical study of biological core literacy;(2)Teachers pay little attention to the important teaching value of cultivating students' core literacy of biology in the column “thinking and discussion”;(3)The teaching of “thinking and discussion” column infiltration of biological core literacy is not in place.Basing on these problems in the teaching process,the teaching strategies of infiltrating the core literacy of biology into the column of “thinking and discussion”were discussed from the perspective of cultivating students' core literacy of biology:(1)It is necessary for strengthening teachers' theoretical learning of biological core literacy,including more study lectures,seminars and teaching competitions on core literacy learning in schools and related education departments,and design the teaching scheme under the guidance of relevant documents such as the new curriculum standards,andconduct regular exchange meetings between teachers of different disciplines,in order to explore the teaching approach of cultivating the core literacy of disciplines;(2)Teachers should pay more attention to the cultivation of students' biological core literacy in the column “thinking and discussion”,and should combine the training requirements of core literacy in the new curriculum standards and the contents of this column,focusing on the cultivation of biological core literacy in a certain area;(3)Teachers should renew their teaching ideas and learn the advanced teaching methods,and use problem-based teaching methods in the actual classroom teaching related to the column “thinking and discussion”;(4)Students' positive learning attitude should be cultivated,and the teaching method of “heterogeneous groups” should be introduced into the classroom to promote students to form a good sense of team cooperation and establish a sense of healthy competition.This paper classified the column “thinking and discussing” in the compulsory textbooks of the people's Education Edition,and then analyzed the requirements of cultivating the core literacy of biology in this column in each chapter,combining the training requirements of each teaching module in the new curriculum standards for the cultivation of the core literacy of biology and the teaching content of the column“thinking and discussion”.Finally,this paper designed teaching cases that infiltrate the core literacy of biology for each type of “thinking and discussion” column.
